Bug Description

After semi-maximizing (right/left half) a window it can not be maximized pressing the maximize button the first time. Instead the window gets restored, so you need to press the maximize button again in order to really maximize the window.
If an application is already semi-maximized when opening, maximizing works.
The following video demonstrates this:

I believe this is the intended behaviour.

Semi-maximizing a window is supposed to put it in the semi-maximized state, pressing the button should restore that state.

I'm subscribing John Lea in case I'm wrong about that though.

Esokrates, I am quite sure this case is no bug, but desired behaviour.
When the window state changes to semi-maximized it is already in a "maximized" mode, even if it is just semi- ;)
See also the button change on semi-maximize.
