Bug Description
I have set up automatic backups in Ubuntu 12.10 which uses Déjà Dup. Lately, I am left with minimized Deja Dup windows (which I only discover if I happened to notice the icon added to my Unity panel), when read "Backup failed, got status code 503." This is really unhelpful. First off, the error message needs to pop up to the front for the user. Secondly, it should be more explanative of what is going on. Thirdly, it really needs to re-schedule the backup when this happens so that it tries again when the servers are less busy. This only started happening to me recently, I don't know if something is going on on the UbuntuOne side of things, but it has raised a valid problem I think.
Original question:
Deja dup failed with error code 503. What does this mean and how do I fix it?
I have it installed on Ubuntu 11.10 64 bit, and trying to back up to Ubuntu One.
The backup works, then seems to try to upload but then fails.
Thanks for any help.
Steve.

Ubuntu One support is dropped (it's closing down). So closing this bug as (now) invalid.
