rt2500 not supported

Bug Description

Binary package hint: knetworkmanager

My rt2500 card using the original Ubuntu's rt2500 drivers doesn't connect to my secured network.

If I do
# iwconfig ra0 essid "brlog"
# iwconfig ra0 key xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx...
# dhclient ra0

it works perfectly. But setting the key in knetworkmanager (or its equivalent in Gnome) and trying to bring up the network, it doesn't work. I think the problem is in the key assignment as if I do iwconfig to show the wireless network status when knetworkmanager is connecting, essid and ap is set, but the key is not.

Matevz Jekovec: Has Bug 78037 something to do with that?

Changed in knetworkmanager:
assignee: nobody → thotz
status: Unconfirmed → Needs Info
