Bug Description

1. Install gnome-themes-standard and overlay-scrollbar.
Make sure ubuntu-gnome-default-settings is not installed since we disabled the overlay scrollbar for 13.04 to work around this bug.
2. Change the theme to Adwaita. (You can do this by running XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=Unity gnome-control-center unity-appearance)
3. Log out and back in just to make sure that the overlay scrollbar is loaded.
4. Run Gedit.
5. Click the New Document button to open a second document.

What happens
============
The background for the tab bar turns black.

I had the same problem in 13.10 beta 1 and tried logging out with a black bar theme then logged back in and changed back to Gnome Light and my bars went back to the correct colours.
