Bug Description
It's hard to describe this particular situation. This happened in the pre-releases as well as beta. Noise will be playing music without any interruption, then freeze and immediately shutdown. After reopening and beginning to listen to music it will immediately shutdown and continue shutting down 10s-2m after being reopened every time afterwards.
My system is pretty simple, so I'm not sure what it would take to replicate. This is a stock elementaryOS setup - none of the standard applications have been switched out yet. Noise does not crash in the normal way, so it does not give me an option to report a bug on it with any additional details. It almost appears to just close itself down, versus crashing.
Running Apps:
Chrome (1 flash app open, not active),
Empathy,
Steam,
Geary
The music folder is symlinked to my Windows music folder (Noise had issues [see: #1074524] trying to access the folder on seperate media. Using a symlink seemed to help).
Noise does appear to run the first time for 15-20 minutes before the first crash.
Sorry, that's all the details I've got!
