Strange, the translation exists on launchpad [1] for pt_BR locale for quite some time (reviewed on 2010-04-09), so don't really know what could be wrong, will have to be checked by someone else too.

Hi,

It's the same in French with Trusty.
String 45 is not translated in Ubuntu because the last sentence is different.

- In update-notifier in Launchpad translations: "Please update manually by clicking on this icon and then selecting 'Check for updates' and check if some of the listed repositories fail."

- As displayed: "Please update manually by selecting 'Show updates' from the indicator menu, and watching for any failing repositories."
