Bug Description
I have tested two cases, the first one with an openerp database with the built-in test items loaded on and the second one without. With the first case the "import product" feature works very well but when I am doing the same thing with the second config, I get this error for each product that I am trying to import: IntegrityError: duplicate key value violates unique constraint "product_
DETAIL: Key (default_code)=() already exists
Thanks.

I fully support this bug report ! We really should remove the unicity constraint on product_code (in module product_sequence, product_product.py line 32). I am also pushing for this ! But it requires important changes in the code of the module product_images. So, in the short term, the workaround is to put unique "reference" in PrestaShop for your products.
