Bug Description

Hi,

It could be great if there was a way to use a different cipher and key size than AES 128 with the "private utilities". I mean by private utilities: ecryptfs-mount-private, ecryptfs-recover-private, ecryptfs-setup-private and the PAM module.

Cheers

Hello - A growing number of users (yet still a small number) have asked for this. The author of the "private utilities", Dustin Kirkland, has not been keen to add this flexibility into those utilities. His reasoning is one of user support and not wanting too many knobs for a user to turn. Since he is the one that supports/maintains those utilities, I'm marking this as wishlist with a low priority.

If you provided good reasons for needing this functionality and provided a clean patch, you may be able to convince him that it should be merged.
