For what it's worth, on my unrelated staging branch ree-fix-calendar-borders, the buttons appear to be good even on IE8. I forked this branch off some time last week.

Hmm, the calendar toolbar is still wrapping crazy on IE8, but not IE9 or other browsers.

Blaise, can you work on this today (Friday morning)? Note, it is IE8 only (not IE9), but might be both UX1 and UX2. Which makes it important.

Along the way, look and see if you have any ideas on cleaning up the button groups.

Under IE8 the "setup" for category and layers is centered and should be to the left

Blaise, this is still broken on IE8. The branch went away, presumably because it got merged. Can you make a new branch using the new naming scheme and fix this for IE8?
