Bug Description
When a Filter is activated the correct filter defaults are applied (as far as I can tell), but a rectangular box appears in a layer above the window, which cannot be interacted with in any way. I assume this is the dialog box for filter options, but somehow not being activated correctly. It is possible to continue interacting with Inkscape normally- the system acts as if the box is not even there, other than displaying them. More boxes can be generated, each setting itself in a higherlayer than the last.
I am not sure if this is related, but even if the initial action of a filter is accepted, the file saved does not look the same as the display in inkscape. Once the boxes thing is resolved, if this continues, I will post another bug.
I first experienced the bug in the version currently distributed in Linux Mint 13, which is version 0.48.3.1-1ubuntu1. As this has a higher version number than the trunk, I then uninstalled it and installed version 0.48.2+
Sorry, forgot to check what extension GIMP was using.
