Bug Description

After fixing bug 1022527, Slingshot now shows Midori first in search results for "re" instead of Redshift. I believe this is because of
X-GNOME-Keywords=Internet;WWW;Explorer
line in midori.desktop

I pushed a fix that should have solved the issue and indeed solved the specific case you reported. If it still happens, please reopen ;)

"Music" in "BeatBox Music Player" is ignored.

Cody, your problem is about priority of name over description which is a different, and not necessarily a good thing...
Out of name and description I'd give priority to whatever matches the beginning of the word, e.g. if I type "RE" I expect to see REdshift, not exploREr.
And I can't see any problem in this particular case - hey, they're both music players.

A part from the fact that Beatbox shouldn't be called Beatbox Music Player (because of our HIG, because it's ugly and because that's not its name), I agree name should get priority over the description. Let's say we have "Film viewer" and an app which description is "Find files throughout your system", you search "fi", "FIlm viewer" should have more priority. Expect a fix soon ;)
