Bug Description
Hi there,
I had this problem a couple of times already and it seems that others have it too, ref http://
When mounting a NFS share a stock Ubuntu 12.04 does give the follwing error:
mount -t nfs 192.168.
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on 192.168.
This error message is not really helping as the only problem there is is the missing package nfs-commons.
Once this is installed the mount works.
The message given by mount should be more clear. e.g.
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on xx.xx.xx.xx:/ZZ, package "nfs-commons" required for mounting of nfs shares
I've reported this with 'apport-bug nfs-common' so I don't know why nfs-utils is listed now.
