Unable to edit files created with prior versions of audacity with ubuntu 12.04 LTS: keyboard and mouse are inactive

J'ai des fichiers Audacity enregistrés avec une précédente version de Ubuntu.
Avec Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, je peux ouvrir ces fichiers Audacity: mais je ne peux rien faire ni avec la souris ni avec le clavier, ils ne sont pas reconnus par audacity.

I have created some Audacity files with a prior version of Ubuntu. With Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, I can open these files, but I am unable to use the mouse or keyboard: they are not recognised by Audacity.

Si j'ouvre un nouveau fichier dans Audacity, que j'importe un fichier audio (wav) et que je laisse ouvert ce nouveau fichier, je peux ouvrir un des anciens fichiers: il s'ouvre dans une autre fenêtre et je peux alors travailler dedans.

If I open a new file in Audacity, into which I import an audio file (wav) and which I let open this new file, I may open an older file: it opens in another window, and I may work with these files.
