Currently the synchronization information is stored on the local hard disk. It is also stored implicitly in the bugs since they are synchronized. However only the bug summaries are used to find matching bugs, if there is no synchronization information locally.
It is therefore useful to store the synchronization information additionally as magic text in the bug's description. Then the bug could be further edited without restrictions (except for the magic text), in case the local synchronization information is lost.
