Bug Description
BeatBox 0.4 on Ubuntu 12.04
When I change the metadata of files with an external tool and hit "rescan music folder" (don't know how it's exactly called in English), BeatBox doesn't recognize the changes. Furthermore, if I have activated "write metadata to file" and open the "edit metadata" window, this is a perfect way to undo all the changes I made with the external tool (even if I just open and close the window without doing any changes).

Well, the actual problem seems to be that my Tag Editor does not modify the timestamp of the latest change of the file. It does write the parent folder's timestamp (something that is said to be useful for Amarok), maybe the scanning could check that too? Or you could add an option like "deep rescan" that would compare the metadata of the files with those in the database. The scanning is quite fast right now, which is amazing, but on the other hand people might like to keep the timestamp of the file when editing the tags (And not all programs offer the option to write it). Having both possibilities would be great.
