Bug Description
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
OpenOffice Writer uses Times and Helvetica for new files by default. Calc, Impress and Draw use Arial. Math uses Times New Roman, Courier New and Arial. These fonts are not installed in Ubuntu by default - they are installed by msttcorefonts. We should substitute them with free fonts - ie. DejaVu Sans and DejaVu Serif.

There is a bug filed in OOo bugtracker: http:// qa.openoffice. org/issues/ show_bug. cgi?id= 10866
but they argue that Times is de facto academic and corporate standard :/
