Bug Description

In Ubuntu I click on the "Applications" menu in GNOME, and select "Add/Remove Software", then a package manager comes up, which allows me to search for packages online, and install them.

But I don't know if the package is 1 megabyte or 150 megabyte. It doesn't say.
It must say this.

I want to install it, if its only 1 megabyte, but if its 150 megabyte, I don't want to install. Please, put so you can see how large the package is...

Neither does it say date of release, when the package was put into the repository, version, etc.

This is really a must. And I agree with Fred about the additional information.

I agree with the size, disagree with the "when the package was put into the repository". That's not necessary for Add/Remove.
