Bug Description
Binary package hint: empathy
Installing the empathy package to take advantage of the chat client no menu item is created. The application needs to be launched from the command line or via the run dialog.

Empathy is started automatically when gnome-session starts. I think the package should start empathy when installing, to not force the user to log out and log in again to get empathy running.
