Bug Description
Ubuntu 10.04 LTS doesn't play A/52 (AC-3) sound in .ts video files - try for example "The Story of India" video files from http://
File type: MPEG-2 transport stream (video/mp2t)
Audio: Dolby Digital (AC-3)
Quality: HDTVRip
Video: H.264/AVC
Sound is heard only after updating gstreamer packages from ppa:gstreamer-
Please fix this bug in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS updates, several my friends told me, that there is no sound with some DVD's too, AFAIK these DVD's also use AC-3 (A/52) audio. I can attach non copyrighted sample file to this bugreport if you need, but it seems this bug is already fixed in newer gstreamer packages, so, please just backport needed code to Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
Support for the desktop version of Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" ended on May 9, 2013. If this is still occurring on Ubuntu 13.04 "Raring Ringtail" please use ubuntu-bug to file a new bug report so that we can get your system info and logs.
