Every time I upgrade to the newest Ubuntu, my huawei E169 mobile broadband is not recognised, which means I am off-line(lucky my mum has a wireless network in place) until the problem is resolved, which is usually several weeks. This has occurred with every unbuntu upgrade since 9.04.

I now also have no gnome network manager??? Becoming a little fed up, as I lose weeks of downtime with my work.

This device is covered by usb-modeswitch, so this should work out of the box in maverick (Ubuntu 10.10).
