Binary package hint: lsb
seiko epson have launched an esc p/r common printer driver using the lsb package for virtually all of their printers. Can I suggest you consider adding this printer driver (available in .deb) to ease epson newcomers to maverick meerkat.

Likewise Lexmark have now produced printer drivers (again in .deb form) for much of their models. Hopefully something could be done to ease the use of lexmark owners in 10.10. At the end of april they will be providing support also for 64bit printing.
