Bug Description
For the WishList:
Empathy and Pidgin support to save messaging history. Both of these support viewing message history, and I use it a lot to remember who said what and when. But there is a real problem when I'm sitting there searching and thinking "I _KNOW_ that I got a link for that page from this guy" and in fact that particular history is saved on a different computer. So it would really help a lot if it would be possible to sync history between computers.
Not sure if this means the actual Empathy and Pidgin applications needs to be altered in some way. But I'm guessing this is also possible to attain by just syncing part of the file system, where the history is saved. Problem is, you can't just overwrite with the newest file, you have to insert changes within each file with the same name.
Definitely a good addition to the Wish List.
