Bug Description
Dapper Flight 6:
What I do miss are the automatically installed ndiswrapper-utils to install the driver for my pci-wlan-card.
Wpa is supported, that´s very good, but I can´t run my card without ndiswrapper.

Ubuntu has big usability problem with lots of network cards, which are not supported by open source drivers, but works fine with ndiswrapper and closed-source Windows drivers from CD, included with network card. ndiswrapper. sourceforge. net/mediawiki/ index.php/ Installation and http:// ndiswrapper. sourceforge. net/mediawiki/ index.php/ List, I think. Without this info users, who have only ndiswrapper supported network cards, can't connect to internet, even advanced linux users can't :(
In Ubuntu Live and install CD's and in default installation Ubuntu should include not only ndiswrapper-utils package, but also info from http://
Best decision would be to include some user-friendly wizard to install drivers for network cards, which doesn't have open source drivers in ubuntu, but works through ndiswrapper and closed-source drivers for Windows.
