Please update GCompris package to latest upstream version 12.11 - lots of bugfixes and new activities since current Ubuntu version (12.1)

Latest GCompris 12.11 packages for Ubuntu 12.04 (precise) are in ppa:aapo-rantalainen/gcompris (https://launchpad.net/~aapo-rantalainen/+archive/gcompris ) - I've tested these packages and didn't found any problems.

There is one small packaging bug: Debian version number is too high (12.11-1-1+precise) - should be 12.11-0~precise or 12.11-0~precise1, because number in PPA packages should be lower than wil be in official Ubuntu (12.11-0ubuntu1) or Debian packages (12.11-1), see http://askubuntu.com/questions/197479/answertab=active#tab-top
Maybe Aapo Rantalainen could lower version number of GCompris packages in ppa:aapo-rantalainen/gcompris ?

Hi Mantas, thanks for testing my PPA. I will lower version number, but then I also need to change name of PPA, because PPA is not accepting lower versions that it already has.

Now PPA https://launchpad.net/~aapo-rantalainen/+archive/gcompris-12.11
contains 12.11-0~precise1 (there are also packages for other Ubuntu releases).

Thanks for improving gcompris 12.11 packages. I've tested your gcompris 12.11-0~precise1 packages a little and didn't noticed any problems, only one small note - you don't need to include outdated tex documentation in docs folder ;)
Btw, you don't need new PPA for older version - simply delete gcompris 12.11-1-1+precise packages from https://launchpad.net/~aapo-rantalainen/+archive/gcompris and after few hours you can copy 12.11-0~precise1 packages from https://launchpad.net/~aapo-rantalainen/+archive/gcompris-12.11/+copy-packages into ppa:aapo-rantalainen/gcompris :)
When needed packages will be copied then you can delete newly created PPA :)

I've copied gcompris 12.11-0~precise1 packages from ppa:aapo-rantalainen/gcompris-12.11 to official Baltix GNU/Linux repository (ppa:baltix-members/ppa)

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

This bug was fixed in the package gcompris - 12.11-1
