Attached Devices in power menu shows Printers when no printer attached

Bug Description

At the time of this capture I did not have a printer attached to the system. Indeed, I don't expect to ever connect a printer to this notebook.

Confirmed. It is shown even when no printer is installed. Anyway, this can be useful to install network printers, for example.

Going by the spec, printers are to be shown regardless of whether one is detected or not.

The spec referenced above does not explicitly state that the Printers item should be visible when no printer is attached. I suspect that this is a possible oversight in the spec.

Regardless of the spec, the UI is currently labelling non-existent hardware as attached to the system.

On these bases, I would still consider this a bug (extending to the spec if necessary).

The Printers applet is still available via System Settings if one wants to connect to a printer not physically attached to the system, e.g. network printers etc.

I agree with Alex. Setting to Ayatana. I think it would be nice to have feedback regarding the issue from the design team.
