Binary package hint: compiz
placing windows via compiz grid plugin can be regarded as maximizing them to a certain region.
The intention is to tile windows, maximizing their usage of a side, hemisphere or quadrant of the screen.
In this understanding, window corners should be drawn cornered and not rounded.
rounded corners are for non-maximized & non snapped-to-grid windows floating above the grid.
all snapped to grid windows should have "cornered corners", i.e. not rounded. |
Binary package hint: compiz
placing windows via compiz grid plugin can be regarded as "maximizing" them within a constrained space, inbetween other "tiles".
The intention is to tile windows, maximizing their usage of a side, hemisphere or maybe also quadrant of the screen.
In this understanding, window corners should be drawn straight and not rounded.
Rounded corners will still look good on floating windows.

Binary package hint: compiz
Tiling windows via Compiz Grid plugin is the same as "maximizing" them to an area constrained by other "tiles".
The intention is to tile windows, maximizing their efficient usage of a side (left|right), hemisphere or maybe also of a quadrant of physical display.
In this understanding, window corners should be drawn straight and not rounded on tiled windows.
Rounded corners will still look good on floating windows.
