Bug Description
I use OpenBox as my window manager and I have it set to place new windows at top-left of "free space": where it overlaps the least possible recent windows. Something weird happens when I have AWN running: windows aren't opened right next to the dock like I'd expect but about the width of the dock to the right (I have my dock on the left).
When making compton display shadows for everything including docks it's clear that this is because AWN reports its width as larger than the actual displayed width: the shadow is also drawn wrong.
Is there a specific reason this is done? To allow for animations? Because I've set mine to simple so the space required should be minimal...
I use Arch's 0.4.2 (release 4) with the standard taskmanager and a couple of other plugins.
