Bug Description

Hello,

when using aethercast on bq M10 FHD on OTA-13, I see about 390 messages per second sent to /var/log/syslog, making it diificult to use for other purposes.

Expected behavior would be for there to be fewer messages sent to /var/log/syslog, there seems to be debug information sent.

Steps to reproduce (with silo 2162 deployed on OTA-13 to get aethercast to work):

$ sudo tail -f /var/log/syslog > /tmp/syslog-extract.txt
$ grep MtkOmxVencEncod /tmp/syslog-extract.txt | grep '\[ 1096' | wc -l
390
$ grep MtkOmxVencEncod /tmp/syslog-extract.txt | grep '\[ 1098' | head -20

This isn't really a aethercast bug but a problem with the Android userland libraries / kernel used on the M10.
