Typing enough into an autosized searchbar causes Fx to hide the searchbar

Bug Description

Firefox 29's new navigation bar thing seems to have some sort of logic that causes it to hide things every time the URL box gets narrower than a certain width. My screen's resolution is relatively low, so when I type enough into an auto-sizing search box the bookmark and home icons on the right disappear first, and if I type still more the search box disappears completely. If I open up the popover that gives one access to the stuff it has hidden all of the text I typed into the search box is gone.

I should probably list my settings:
 * Minimum: -1
 * Maximum: 0 (full size)
 * How to size the searchbar: On every keypress.

Sorry, I wasn't notified about this but I can confirm the issue.

The problem is I don't know how to figure out when ff decides that the url bar isn't going to get any smaller but hide the searchbar instead.

A workaround is to set a max width manually that doesn't cause the searchbar to get hidden.

Changed in autosizer:
status: New → Confirmed
importance: Undecided → High

I've just tested FF 29.0.1 of Windows 7 64 bit.

 That's the addon options: 1 - options.jpeg & 2 - options.jpeg (see screenshots in attached archive). Addon was installed from scratch (not updated from prev. ver.).
At browser startup everything looks so: 3.jpeg.
Next, I click on the icon FIRST TIME and addon works as should (4.jpeg).
Next, I go to URL bar and click on icon again and it ... dissapears, I click on ">>" icon to the right of the URL bar and Search bar there (5.jpeg)!

I use shortcuts to switch between Search bar and URL bar (Ctrl-K & Ctrl-L respectively)
I click on web page area and press Ctrl-K ... and see the same (5.jpeg).

My settings is expand all at once. I set also max width & min width equal. Nothing changed.
