Bug Description
Now that we have a print_tree method available, it would be quite useful to add the ability to dump the current introspection tree from the vis tool to a file. The basic use case is simply dumping from the root node, but allowing dumping from any arbitrarily selected node would also be welcome.

I'm not convinced of the use case here. The vis tool already show syou the whole tree, and soon you'll be able to search it as well.
Please explain why you think this is a good thing to include?
