Synchronisation ending with java exception

This is a pretty strange error, I wouldn't expect it to occur where it does. I will say that I probably will not be making synchronization changes to Astrid 2.x and will instead be focusing on the RTM provider for Astrid 3.x, but if this error occurs do let me know so I can bump the priority.

I've had something similar (except with an English message) on a Droid running Android 2.0 and the latest Astrid (as of 11/20/09).

Can you let me know the exact message you're receiving? Are you still seeing this error?

I think my issue might be related: There is a lot of latency. Then first I get: Connection Error! Check your internet connection and try again.
Then, if I go into settings syncronization and clear my personal data and then hit sync now, it takes me to RTM's website and that says "Application successfully authorized" and has my userid at the top. Above their website it says "please log in to RTM..." When I hit the "Done" button below that, another error is returned: Sorry, there was an error verifying your login. Please try again. Error Mesage: No wrapped connection."

I was able to sync with RTM last night. I hope mine is just a noob issue...

I couldn't reproduce the same error message as before until today
I used to have a similar behavior:
when syncing, it takes a long time (sometimes, it starts syncing with the status bar progessing)
then it fails with error: "Connection Error! Check your internet connection and try again."

But today, I get the original error:
"Erreur de Synchornisation ! Excusez-nous du désagrément ! Erreur : java.lang.NullPointerException - com.timsu.astrid.sync.SynchronisationProvider.synchronizeTasks(SynchronizationProvider.java:257)"
(note that line in code has changed: 257)

I will try to address this issue in astrid 3.x

Android Version: 1.6

I also get an error when synchronizing (every time). I'm a new user to Astrid and to RTM.

When I sync I get past the reading data stage. Astrid synchronizes several tasks before displaying the following error:

Sync Error! Sorry for the inconvenience! Error: java.lang.NullPointerException - com.timsu.astrid.sync.SynchronizationProvider.synchronizeTasks(SynchronizationProvider.java:295).

I am running Astrid version 2.11.1 (version 125 on Application Info page) on my nexus One with Firmware 2.1-update1.

Reporting same error (in French as above).

Note: Astrid/RTM synchronization worked perfectly until today.

Steps to reproduce :
* not sure unfortunately but the last action I performed was to strike two tasks as done on my device. Then synchronization failed with the above warning

Astrid version 125 - Firmware 2.0.1 on Milestone

just pushed a new version to market 2.11.2 - please let me know if this addresses the issues you guys are seeing. I can't reproduce this so I don't know if it will or not :(

installed version 126 today. Completed tasks on device, it synched perfectly. Will report in a few days after more intensive use. So far, so good :), thanks.
