Bug Description

I am using ubuntu 11.10. I installed the ask ubuntu lens from the software centre. I logged out and logged in. The lens is there, however when I type something to search, nothing is available. This was a reported bug but it said that it had been solved. However I am facing it again.

Is this still an issue?

If it is, in a terminal, please run "python /opt/extras.ubuntu.com/unity-lens-askubuntu/unity-askubuntu-daemon" in a terminal and add any output into this bug. If the only output you get is ""Failed to own name net.launchpad.Lens.AskUbuntu. Bailing out. Do you have another instance running? Try grepping unity-askubuntu-daemon in ps aux and kill the process. ", then you'll need to kill the currently running unity-askubuntu-daemon (eg using System Monitor) and try the command again.

I'm setting this bug to INCOMPLETE for now.
