Bug Description

Presumably GNU emacs crashed because the connection (over WiFi) to an X11 server was temporarily down. Emacs produced a 0 byte "core" dump. (The last emacs crash, 10 days ago, produced a 381M "core" file.) Top shows this process:

PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
30756 brech 20 0 11.577g 8.917g 12168 R 100.0 14.2 226:00.48 /usr/bin/python3 /usr/share/apport/apport 8605 6 18446744073709551615 1 8605 !usr!bin!emacs25-lucid

It has consumed 226 minutes of time, and shows no sign of ending.

Since the last successful core dump, /etc/apport/{blacklist,native-origins}.d have been modified.
They contain no new files. Some such change may have turned on apport.
