Bug Description
I had a few issues with the notifications of alsa-tray in gnome 3 (linux mint 12):
- notifications with a progress bar don't seem to work, they just show up as normal text notifications
- alsa-tray generates a stream of notifications when the volume keys are pressed multiple times, instead of updating the existing notification
- all notifications are persistent, i.e. they stay in the notification tray forever
I haven't found a way to fix the first problem yet, but I fixed the other two (see attachment). My changes also fix this bug:
