Bug Description

I'm using activity-log-manager 0.9.5 with revision 47 patched in (to add back the diagnostics tab).

1. Unlock the Privacy panel and check the "Send a report automatically if a problem prevents login" box
2. Close the Privacy window (and gnome-control-center if open)
3. Reopen Privacy. The box is unchecked.

After doing a quick scan of the code, it looks to me like the send_reports_automatically button isn't hooked up to anything.

Changed in activity-log-manager:

Indeed not. The feature behind it is not implemented yet.

I'll work on making sure that box remains disabled.

The fix to hide the "Send a report automatically" button doesn't work. For Ubuntu, I just patched out the lines from the .ui file.
